nRF9151 Micro Breakout Expansion Board
This PCB expands the nRF9151 Micro Breakout pinout to standard 2.54mm headers for breadboarding and rapid prototyping.
Expansion only
The nRF9151 Micro Breakout Expansion Board is not supplied with a nRF9151 Micro Breakout; this must be purchased separately.
Key Features
- All nRF9151 Micro Breakout pins broken out to 2.54mm headers
- Nano SIM (4FF) card slot
- 2.54mm header pins supplied
- 33.3 × 61.2 mm form factor
- Suitable for breadboard
Usage
The nRF9151 Micro Breakout Expansion Board is a cheaper alternative to the DevKit2, providing easy access to all essential Micro Breakout pins in a standard breadboard-friendly form factor. All GPIO, power and ancillary pins are exposed as a DIP 2.54mm spaced header with a convenient Nano SIM (4FF) card slot for easy SIM card connection. If hand soldering the nRF9151 Micro Breakout to the Expansion Board, it's recommended to practice a few times with the Practice Board first.
Programming
The SWDCLK and SWDIO programming pins are available and labelled on the Expansion Board 2.54mm header. They are also available via a Pogo pin/Tag Connect style PCB footprint. The pinout for this footprint is given in the image below.

Pogo pin pinout diagram will be added here shortly.
A suitable Tag Connect programming header is: TC2030-IDC-NL but the pin ordering depends on the programmer you have available.
